I was born and raised in Sonora, México. There, I taught Spanish at the High School and University level for 4 years. I have a M.S. in Education from the Technological Institute of Sonora. During High school and college, I was part of a professional folkloric dance group and I travel to different countries in Asia to share this lovely Mexican culture around the world.
I moved to the United States in 2007 and earned my teaching credential at California State University. I started my career with LCUSD in 2011.
I am married to Ismael and I have two precious children, Andrea and Santiago. I enjoy dancing, listening to music, and taking bike rides with my family.
