After student teaching at La Canada High School in 2003, I realized my purpose in education was to work with middle school students. The mind of the middle school student is unique, creative, and determined. I knew I had to be a part of their educational journey.
Prior to teaching English, I worked as a corporate investigator for a Fortune 500 company. Upon realizing investigative work wasn't my passion, I went back to school and earned my teaching credential and master's degree in education from Point Loma Nazarene University.
I am supported in life by my best friend (my husband) and my two terrific, fun-loving, and kind-hearted children. We can be found on the weekends and during summer vacations camping, traveling, and being adventurous.
Teaching at La Canada High School 7/8 has been a rewarding experience. I work with dedicated professionals, have met wonderful parents, and I have been blessed with fantastic students.
