The mayor, Luis Partida, received La Cañada Flintridge and SEK school. 

 

The mayor of Villanueva de la Cañada, Luis Partida, received on April 2 at the Town Hall, a delegation from La Cañada Junior High School, a secondary education center located in the twin city of La Cañada Flintridge (USA). The school's director, Dr. Jarrett Gold, Spanish teacher Marian Price and five students aged 12 and 13 were part of it.

 

Villanova educational troupe, Andrés Ferrero Hernández, accompanied the delegation.

 

"We are delighted to welcome a representation of our sister city to our municipality. I am sure that it will be an enriching experience for the students of both educational centers, to whom I congratulate for promoting initiatives like this," said the mayor, Luis Partida. The event, held in the Plenary Hall, was attended by councilors from the Municipal Corporation, as well as members of the Twinning Cultural Association.

 

His visit to Villanueva de la Cañada is part of an academic exchange with students from the SEK-El Castillo school. The Secondary Education and Baccalaureate Language Coordinator of the center Villanueva de la Cañada.
