Principal's Message

Dear Spartan Parents, Students and Families, Welcome to our school.

Going into my tenth year as the LCHS 7/8 principal, I am excited for what we have grown and continue to grow. LCHS 7/8 is a community within itself. We have a dedicated and highly qualied staff along with such amazing students and supportive parents. I look forward to getting to know all of the incoming 7th grade families and to continue to build relationships with all of the returning 8th grade families as we engage in this educational process together.

At LCHS 7/8 we believe that students can achieve on so many levels within many different domains. We pride ourselves on seeing the individual student for their own unique talents. Students will be exposed to an environment that is rigorous, inclusive, Common Core aligned, and that challenges students on multiple levels.

Just as important as academics, LCHS 7/8 is a school that prides itself on a safe environment that does not tolerate inequities based on race, religion, sex or any other discriminatory factor. We have worked hard to create a school that is accepting and free of bullying.

As a faculty, we will work hard on continuing to develop your child in multiple domains, including their social, emotional and academic well-being.

My goal as a principal is to make your child and your family’s time at LCHS 7/8 one that is memorable. I pride myself on creating relationships with students, parents, and staff to ensure a positive experience. I want you to be reassured that I have worked in this district for seven years and understand the expectations we have for all stakeholders. I would like to assure you I hold myself to those high standards as well. I look forward to a great year!

I am condent in the work of our LCHS 7/8 staff and know that this year will bring not only new challenges but also many new successes. As we head into the 2024-25 school year, I am condent that as a school, district, and community, we will be successful inside and outside the academic world.

-Jarrett Gold, LCHS 7/8 Principal
